Educational Qualifications:

Senior Research Officer:

(a) A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Act). The candidate must be registered with the State/Central Medical Council.

(b) M.D. (Preventive Social Medicine/Community Medicine) with three years professional experience after M.D. B.
(c) EXPERIENCE - 3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. Preference will be given to those who have research experience in TB and Respiratory Diseases.

Medical Officer :

(a) A medical Qualification  included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.  (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Act).
(b) The candidate must be registered with the State/Central Medical Council.
(c) Desirable - Post graduate diploma/Degree in Chest, TB and allied Diseases, Experience in the TB Control Programme.

Junior Electric Mechanic :

(a) Middle pass with 1st class Wireman certificate with three years working experience as Electrician or Wireman. (OR) Certificate of Electrician/wireman from ITI.
(b) Desirable - Preference will be given to those who have experience of working in Electrical Division of any Hospital.

How To Apply: The completed application form should be accompanied by requisite non-refundable fee in the form of Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of “Director, National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases” payable at New Delhi.  No fees for SC/ST/PH & Woman candidates.  Completed application form should be sent to Director, National Institute of TB & Respiratory Diseases, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110030 on or before 16/03/2015 up to 15:30 Hours.
