Kandla Port Trust invites applications for the post of Senior Stenographer on Regular Basis and Junior Stenographer on Contractual Basis. The last date for receipt of applications is 30th April 2015 (for Senior Stenographer), Walk-in-Interview will be held on 16th April 2015 (for Junior Steno).

Educational Qualification:
Senior Stenographer –> Matriculate or equivalent qualification with typing speed of at least 40 w.p.m. in English Typewriting and 120 w.p.m. in English Shorthand or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi typewriting and 80 w.p.m. in Hindi Shorthand.

Junior Stenographer -> Should be a graduate having sufficient knowledge in computer in Office Automation like MS Word, MS Excel, etc. Should have a minimum speed of 80 wpm in English Shorthand and 40 wpm speed in typing on computer in English. Proficiency in Stenography and Computer Operation shall be judged through shorthand test and test on computer in MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
